Teeth whitening safety precautions
There has been quite a lot of research over the last couple of years looking into the safety of using tooth whitening techniques. All of the whitening products we use at Lake Country Dental are approved by the American Dental Association. Which means that it's now perfectly safe to have your teeth whitened in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Snider will advise you of any potential side effects, but normally the only thing you might notice is an increased sensitivity to hot or cold food, and this normally goes away by itself within a couple of days. If you have any questions then don't hesitate to call Ray Snider, D.D.S. at (888) 431-8237 to schedule an appointment and discuss any of your tooth whitening concerns. Don't Forget to Floss! Clean between teeth daily with floss or an interdental cleaner. Decay-causing bacteria can hid between teeth where toothbrush bristles can't reach. Flossing helps remove plaque and food particles from between teeth and under the gum line. Visit Our Office Regularly! Take good care of your smile. Remember to visit the dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams. Mouthwash Is Important, Too! Brushing and flossing may not be enough. The ADA now recommends using an antimicrobial mouthwash to reduce plaque and prevent gingivitis. |
